Are you using SNMP or WMI based service monitoring?

Hi Jason! I'm seeing false positive in APM, when monitoring the WWW windows service.

The monitor becomes warning, but the service is up. Did you see this happening?

In reply to <a href="https://wug.ninja/false-positives-in-wug/#comment-238">marhoum</a>.

There are a couple of things that can cause this problem. If it is a Cisco device, make sure interface index persistence is on. If it is on, I would suggest removing the SNMP monitors and rescanning the device. No such instance indicates a successful SNMP connection, but the instance (specific counter) you're looking for isn't there.
